Lil' Artist Alley is an area for the kids to enjoy special hands on activities and live performances! There will be arts and crafts, face painting, balloon sculpting, sand art, fair hair and more.

Art on Your Face

Abbie Cadabra

Abbie Cadabra (Abbie Pair) and crew bring wonderful audience interaction and imagination-inspired beautiful face painting to the Atlanta Arts Festival.

Artist Bio ►

Abbie Cadabra (Abbie Pair) has been painting faces for almost 20 years. She and everyone she works with paint under the company name "Art on Your Face". Their designs are imaginative and delightful whether they are on your face or your arm. Children's dreams come to life as Abbie and team turn them into animals, superheroes, fairy princesses and anything else your guests can imagine!

Arts and Crafts

Georgia McFarlin

Hands on arts and crafts. These activities will include clay sculpting, collages, painting, and bubble art.


Balloon Twisting

Mister Greggy

It's an action packed balloon twisting activity area where every participant will get to learn how to make their very own balloon animal or fancy hat. Guests will even be taught how to balance a balloon on their nose. For the grand finale, everybody marches in the circus balloon parade!!

Artist Bio ►


Born at an early age, Greg McMahan loved performing as long as he can remember. Beginning with shows for his parents, including brother and sisters as cast members, his whole family soon took to the stage at local theaters in Cincinnati, Ohio.

During the early 1970's, Greg developed an interest in magic, juggling, puppetry and clowning that has continued to this day. He's written instructional books for other children's entertainers worldwide, and has conducted seminars and lectures for various magician & clown organizations.

Since 1992, Greg has taught magic and other variety arts to thousands of children at Circus Camp, a summer day camp near Atlanta which teaches beginning circus skills.

In 2003 Greg traveled with the Clyde Beatty~Cole Bros Circus as their national spokesperson. Using the stage name "Wizard of Odd", Greg promoted the circus on local TV stations, radio & newspaper interviews and live appearances during the show's 9 month, 110 city tour.

Now performing professionally in the Atlanta area as "Mister Greggy", Greg has entertained at countless events ranging from birthday parties to the Governor's Mansion. His specialty is children's shows, and he loves seeing the smiles on his audience's faces! For more information visit

Fair Hair incorporates colorful and dynamic components to allow hair to be molded with additional dimension, making it more unique and fun than other temporary hair styling techniques.

Fair Hair was founded in 2003, originally as a fundraiser for ALICATS Dance & Music in Flowery Branch, Georgia. Fair Hair incorporates colorful and dynamic components to allow us to mold hair and add dimension, making it more unique and fun than other temporary hair styling techniques! We like to think of it more as "hair art" and we've had fun sharing our little fundraiser with thousands! We decorate hair to suit every personality!

Kids Freestyle Painting

Canvas by U!

The Imaginators – Children's Museum of Atlanta

Sunday only – 12noon to 4pm – The Children's Museum of Atlanta Imaginators will be performing on Sunday (hourly from 12noon to 4pm).

The Children's Museum of Atlanta is a non-profit organization offering a family-friendly space filled with interactive, educational exhibits and programming for children ages eight and under. The Museum's mission is to spark imagination and inspire discovery and learning for all children through the power of play. The Museum's four permanent learning zones consist of bright, creative, hands-on exhibits that are designed to give children an opportunity to learn through play. The Children's Museum of Atlanta is temporarily closed for renovations but plans to reopen in late 2015. While our space is being remodeled, we are appearing at libraries, community centers, and festivals with science demonstrations, crafts, musical performances, and hands-on play.
